We now have two volunteers who are collecting rubbish from our fields and so far they have collected 10 black bin bags full of plastic bottles, tin cans, spirit bottles and food packaging. The fields are looking a lot cleaner now and we hope that it continues to stay this way. Our thanks to the volunteers.
Aside from the rubbish collected, dog waste remains an issue. Dog waste is not only unsightly, but also unhygienic. Please remember we have children playing in the fields and pick up after your dogs. We know most responsible dog owners pick up their dog’s waste and we would appreciate it if everyone did.
