A SOM director has advised that Croydon Council are currently undertaking a survey at the Fishers Farm recycling centre in New Addington to ascertain usage.
This might be intended to justify the closure of this recycling centre, resulting in a more lengthy trip to Croydon with even more queueing.
With the reduced green waste collection service, unless they have chosen to pay for green waste collection, more residents may have to make a trip to this recycling centre.
Residents may want to lobby their councillors to find out what is going on and/or campaign for the site to remain open.
