20mph speed limit consultation

You may be aware that Croydon Council is looking at a long term plan at introducing 20 mph speed limits to residential roads across the borough. They have split the Borough into five areas. They have already consulted North Croydon (Area 1) and the scheme has been approved for implementation in 2016.

The Council has now rolled out the consultation for North East Area 2, which concerns Shirley Oaks Village.SOVRA (Shirley Oaks Village Residents’ Association) urges all residents to take part in the survey and Have Their Say. The link to the website is below.

The DEADLINE for All Online Responses is 20 May 2016. The survey is short and easy, will take less than 10 minutes. Written responses to be received by 23 May 2016.

To take part in the survey, go to the link below and scroll down to “Click To Take Part”: https://getinvolved.croydon.gov.uk/kms/dmart.aspx?strTab=PublicDMart&PageContext=PublicDMart&PageType=item&DMartId=140&NoIP=1

There’s also a FAQs leaflet that explains what’s involved in details. It also includes a map outlining the routes and the concerned areas.
